Dear Members of the Class of 2020:
The Freshman Dean’s Office will host a small, private dinner on Tuesday, March 7 at 6:00 pm, at which a select group of 10 first-year students will have the opportunity to dine with Maggie Williams, Director of the Institute of Politics (IOP) at the John F. Kennedy School of Government. If you are interested in this exceptional opportunity, and can commit to attending from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, please apply.
Ms. Williams served in the White House as assistant to President Bill Clinton and chief of staff to Hillary Clinton. At the Clinton Foundation, she was chief of staff to President Clinton. During the 2008 election cycle, she managed Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, and most recently worked as a senior advisor to Hillary Clinton’s 2016 transition team. Ms. Williams was a fellow for the Center for Public Leadership (2005) and the Institute of Politics (2006), and a member of the IOP senior advisory council, before being named Director of the IOP in 2014.
This dinner is part of the FDO’s Uncommon Fare program, designed to give freshmen a chance to meet outstanding members of the Harvard community, to meet one another, and to see what is truly special about the College. Made possible by a generous, anonymous grant, two additional dinners will be offered during the spring term to first-year students.
Repeats every week every Thursday until Thu Mar 30 2017 .
7:00pm to 10:00pm
