Programs

Life in the Yard provides a multitude of opportunities for freshmen to interact with peers, upper-class students, faculty, and staff of the University. Freshman Intramurals offer a chance for students to bond with their entryway, learn a new sport, and compete against classmates to win the Yard Trophy. The First Year FUNd program provides an opportunity to plan social or cultural events that are fun for all. Through specially designed Freshman Residential Education programs, students learn about college personal development. Each term, students look forward to inviting a faculty member to the traditional First-Year Faculty Dinner in Annenberg Hall. Finally, the First-Year Social Committee organizes fun events like the Halloween Costume Catwalk, the annual Freshman Formal, and karaoke nights at Cambridge Queen’s Head Pub.
