I support communications for the Dean of Students Office, including the website, email, print publications, and social media. In the finance part of my role, I make sure the DSO spends its budget wisely and that financial matters for students and staff are addressed.  This includes funding the Harvard Undergraduate Council and House Committees (HoCos), helping student organizations access their gift funds, reimbursing expenses, and overseeing purchases on University credit cards.

My first three years at Harvard were focused on first-year students. As a first-gen student myself, I'm vested in helping students find their community.

When I'm not in the office, most of my time is spent with my family. My daughter is at Yale, because why shouldn't we have a little H-Y rivalry within the family?! My son is in high school and just beginning to think about college. My husband and I enjoy exploring New England, and visiting coastal Maine, especially the Casco Bay. I also have a friendly springerdoodle named Toby, who occasionally comes to work with me.

I'm passionate about being involved and giving back to the community where I live. I enjoy singing in my church choir, beautifying my yard and community as part of the local garden club, and representing my precinct as a town meeting member. Some of the things I do just for me: endlessly watching HGTV, reading historical fiction, working out, and trying new recipes in the kitchen, often over a glass of wine.

I joined Harvard in the spring of 2015, and have been humbled to support the amazing students of the College. My career has primarily been in the private sector, working for Fortune 500 companies including Texas Instruments, Fidelity Investments, 7-Eleven, and Reebok, in roles ranging from marketing to project management to finance. I'm also a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. I love variety and learning new things, and each day at the Dean of Students Office provides me the chance to grow.
