Dear Members of the Class of 2020:

I enjoyed seeing many of you yesterday at Happy. Healthy. Harvard. and learning of your appreciation for the conversations with faculty about the liberal arts.

With your first college weekend about to start, I remind you to have fun and watch out for each other. We signaled to you through various meetings and communications this week the importance of safety and integrity within our shared community, so please keep these in mind.

To continue those threads, beginning tomorrow and continuing into next week, each entryway will participate in workshops about sexual assault (led by CARE) and alcohol (led by the DAPAs). Our goal is to ensure safety and well-being within all aspects of life in the first year.

Remember, too, that the amnesty policy is an excellent resource, so if you or someone you know is in need of assistance, take advantage of 24-hour medical care at UHS.

With all good wishes.

Sincerely,

Tom Dingman
Dean of Freshmen
