What's up y'all!!! My name is Adelson Aguasvivas. I am a junior in Pforzheimer House concentrating in computer science with a secondary in education. I was born in the Dominican Republic and moved to New York when I was ten. I am a first-generation low-income student and I come from a Black and Native American (Taino) background. While at Harvard, I have spent my time serving the Latinx community as Vice President of Technology and founder of Latinxs in Finance and Technology and Vice President of the Dominican Student Association. I also make music with 21 Colorful Crimson and mentor young black students through the David Walker's Scholars program among other things. I am interested in finding out how to improve education and make it more accessible to low-income communities using computer science and software engineering. I love music (Drake, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, 6lack, Frank Ocean...), basketball (Lebron James, that is all) and video games. I'll be spending my summer doing computer science research in Illinois, then at Google in California. Hit me up if you are interested in CS, music, basketball, being first-gen at Harvard, or anything really!
