Director of Outdoor and Experiential Programs
Paul "Coz" Teplitz started as Director of the First-Year Outdoor Program (FOP) in 2010, and was promoted to Director of Outdoor and Experiential Programs in 2017. He grew to love the program as an undergraduate at the College, serving for several years on the Steering Committee. He rejoined FOP from a nonprofit consulting fellowship with Boston-based New Sector Alliance. Prior to that, he spent six years with the North Carolina Outward Bound School in Asheville, NC. At Outward Bound, Coz spent four years as an instructor, climbing specialist, and corporate programs facilitator and two years running the rock climbing program at one of the basecamps. Currently, Coz is pursuing an Ed.M from the Harvard Graduate School of Education in college student development. When not working with FOP, Coz can be found rock climbing, whitewater canoeing, and backcountry skiing in beautiful locations in New England and beyond.
