My name is Sahil Lauji, and I am a sophomore in Dunster House concentrating in Government with a secondary Islamic Studies. I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, and I come from a half African-American and Indian background. I am a first-generation, low-income college student. I’ve spent my time here staffing for Harvard Model Congress, visiting schools for the admission office, social chairing for South Asian Association, researching for the Institute of Politics, and other extracurriculars. I’m interested in combating inequality, all types of policy, and international relations. I love to workout, cook, and dance. I’ll be spending my next summer working in politics in Washington DC. Let me know if you want to chat about anything to do with sports, finessing Harvard, or how to navigate Harvard as a first-gen student! Can’t wait to meet you at FYRE!
