Joined the team as the Advisor to the First-Year Urban Program in spring 2013, and is also the Program Manager for the Office of the Public Service Network. Previously, she was a Director of Programs at Phillips Brooks House Association, Inc. from 1999-2006. Originally from Queens, NY, she is a graduate of Connecticut College and the Harvard Graduate School of Education, as well as an alumnus of AmeriCorps-VISTA and the Peace Corps (Malawi). Varsha has over fifteen years of experience in the non-profit sector, with international and national experience. She has managed programs in philanthropy, human service and community development programs focused on youth development, leadership training, domestic violence, anti-hunger and adult education. In her free time, Varsha relaxes by planning her next big international trip (Thailand/Cambodia/Laos/Vietnam, Argentina and Botwana/Malawi!), easy hikes in New England, and being part of the Living Root Dragon Boat Team.
